Trump says US will not 'waste our time' helping Argentina if Milei loses

Former US President Donald Trump has warned that the United States will not "waste our time" helping Argentina if the right-wing candidate Javier Milei and his coalition lose the upcoming elections. Trump's comments come ahead of the Argentine general election scheduled for October 22nd. Milei, a controversial libertarian figure, is running for the presidency and his coalition is expected to perform well in the election. Trump has expressed support for Milei, stating that if his coalition is defeated, "we are not going to be generous" and the US will not provide assistance to Argentina. The former president's remarks suggest a potential shift in US-Argentine relations, should Milei's coalition not emerge victorious. Trump's statements underscore the high stakes of the upcoming Argentine election and the potential implications for the country's relationship with the United States.
