Liverpool agree £65.5m sale of winger Luis Díaz to Bayern Munich
Liverpool have agreed to sell their winger Luis Díaz to Bayern Munich for a fee of up to £65.5m (€75m). The 28-year-old Colombian has been granted permission to leave Liverpool's training camp in Tokyo to undergo a medical with the German champions. Bayern had long been interested in Díaz and were willing to meet Liverpool's valuation of the player. Díaz had expressed his desire to move, having indicated his openness to a transfer as early as the summer of 2024. Liverpool's decision to sell the popular player is part of a broader restructuring of their forward line this summer, despite having previously offered Díaz a new contract.
