If You’re Dying to Try Meta’s New Smart Glasses With a Display, Now’s Your Chance

Meta, the company formerly known as Facebook, has released its new smart glasses with a built-in display. These glasses, called Ray-Ban Stories, are the result of a partnership between Meta and Ray-Ban and are designed to provide users with a hands-free way to capture photos, record videos, and take calls. The glasses feature two 5-megapixel cameras, three microphones, and a speaker, allowing users to snap photos or record up to 30-second videos with a tap of a button. The device also allows for hands-free calls and access to voice assistants like Facebook's own virtual assistant. While the glasses are not intended to replace smartphones, they offer a unique way for users to capture and share their experiences without constantly reaching for their devices. The Ray-Ban Stories are currently available for purchase in select markets, with a starting price of $299.
