Lynx's Reeve suspended after blasting officiating

The WNBA has suspended Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve for one game following her critical comments about the officiating during and after their Game 3 loss against the Phoenix Mercury. Reeve's suspension will keep her from coaching the Lynx in Game 4 of the series. The league stated that Reeve's "conduct and comments" during and after the game were the reason for the suspension. Reeve had been vocal in her criticism of the officials, expressing her disagreement with the calls made during the game. The suspension comes as the Lynx trail the Mercury 2-1 in the best-of-five series. Reeve's absence in Game 4 will be a significant challenge for the Lynx as they try to even the series and keep their playoff hopes alive.
