Tyrell Hatton tells European supporters not to sink to level of US fans at Bethpage
Tyrell Hatton, a European golfer, has urged European supporters not to sink to the level of the boisterous and abusive US fans during the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor. The Ryder Cup, a prestigious team golf event, will be held in Ireland in 2027. Hatton expressed his disapproval of the "insults" and "vile treatment" that European players, especially Rory McIlroy and his American wife, Erica, faced from the US fans during the recent Ryder Cup at Bethpage. He emphasized that such behavior is not the way forward and called on European supporters to maintain a higher standard of conduct when the event returns to Europe.
