Corsair’s new decked-out Ryzen mini PC is perfect for AI enthusiasts

Corsair, a renowned brand in the gaming PC market, has recently introduced the AI Workstation 300, a mini PC targeted at AI enthusiasts. The machine is powered by a Ryzen AI Max laptop chip, offering either 8 or 16 primary cores, and can be equipped with up to 128GB of LPDDR5X memory and 4TB of storage. Despite its compact size (9.7 inches on the longest side), the AI Workstation 300 is designed to be a powerful AI workstation. The Radeon 8050S or 8060S GPUs, while integrated, are still relatively powerful. The machine's ability to dynamically split RAM between the CPU and GPU makes it well-suited for running large language models and other AI applications. Corsair is positioning the AI Workstation 300 as a competitor to other small workstation machines, such as HP's Z2 Mini G1a, which use similar Ryzen chips and integrated graphics. The rear panel, though, may be a bit underwhelming, with limited I/O options. The AI Workstation 300 is immediately available, but with both models reportedly backordered shortly after launch, it seems that there is significant demand for this compact and powerful AI-focused mini PC.
