iOS 26.1 Beta 4 lets you make Liquid Glass frosted
Apple has introduced a new toggle in the latest iOS 26.1 Beta 4 that allows users to customize the appearance of the Liquid Glass interface. The new "tinted" setting increases the opacity and contrast of the elements, making them stand out better against the background. This feature was added in response to user feedback, as many beta users had expressed a desire for a more opaque option. The new toggle can be found in the Settings menu on both iPhone/iPad and macOS. Toggling it from "clear" to "tinted" affects the entire iOS and applications, including lock screen notifications. Other changes in the latest beta include a Camera swipe toggle, a new slide-to-stop feature for alarms and timers, updates to the Settings app, new Apple Intelligence languages, and a new Apple TV app icon.
