Björn Borg takes life ‘day by day’ after ‘aggressive’ prostate cancer diagnosis

Björn Borg, the legendary Swedish tennis player, has recently shared his experience with an "extremely aggressive" prostate cancer diagnosis. The five-time Wimbledon champion, who won 11 Grand Slam titles before retiring at the age of 25, revealed the diagnosis in the final chapter of his upcoming autobiography. Borg, who is currently in remission after undergoing an operation in 2024, described the diagnosis as "really, really bad" and "difficult psychologically." The former world No. 1 player also recalled his struggles with drug use after his early retirement from tennis. Despite the challenges, Borg is taking life "day by day, year by year," focusing on his health and well-being. The interview with Borg, which will be published on The Guardian's website on Thursday, is expected to provide more insights into his journey and experiences.
