Elon Musk is trying to silence Microsoft employees who criticize Charlie Kirk

Elon Musk is pressing Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella to investigate Microsoft employees who criticized conservative commentator Charlie Kirk after his death. Musk shared a thread on X (formerly Twitter) that listed names and screenshots of the developers. Musk's actions follow a broader censorship crackdown from Republicans targeting individuals who celebrated Kirk's death or criticized him. Microsoft has responded, stating that it takes such matters seriously and is reviewing each individual situation, while noting that comments celebrating violence against anyone are unacceptable and do not align with the company's values. However, the screenshots shared by Musk do not appear to celebrate the shooting against Kirk. Nadella has not responded publicly to Musk's inquiry as of the time of writing.
