Starfield 2.0 Won't Fundamentally Change The Game, Says Todd Howard

Starfield, the highly anticipated game from Bethesda, is set to receive a major update, but it won't fundamentally change the game, according to Todd Howard, the Bethesda boss. The update will introduce new features and changes to the game, but it won't be a "Starfield 2.0." Howard stated that the update will appeal to existing Starfield fans, but it's unlikely to convert those who didn't connect with the game initially. Rumors have suggested that Starfield may come to the PlayStation 5, but Bethesda has yet to confirm this. Additionally, a recent leak indicates that the game's planned Switch 2 port has been either canceled or postponed. Bethesda is also set to release a new DLC story for Starfield, with a teaser for the "Terran Armada" story already shared. The DLC is expected to be released around the same time as the game's anticipated PS5 launch, which is rumored to be in April. In the meantime, PC players can enjoy a mod called "Star Wars: Genesis," which transforms Starfield into a Star Wars experience, complete with lightsaber combat and other improvements.
