Russell Westbrook signs one-year deal with Sacramento Kings for 18th NBA season

Russell Westbrook, the nine-time NBA All-Star, has signed a one-year deal with the Sacramento Kings for his 18th NBA season. The former MVP, who spent last season with the Denver Nuggets, will add experience and energy to the Kings' bench. This move marks Westbrook's seventh NBA team, as he looks to contribute his skills and leadership to a Kings squad that lacked depth in the backcourt a year ago. Westbrook, who turns 37 in November, averaged 13.3 points, 6.1 assists, and 4.9 rebounds while shooting 44.9% from the field for the Nuggets last season. The veteran point guard remained unsigned through the summer before finalizing the terms with the Kings this week.
