Google Photos' conversational editing is rolling out to Android users

Google is rolling out a new "conversational editing" feature for its Google Photos app on Android devices in the US. This feature allows users to request specific photo edits verbally or through text, rather than having to manually make the changes themselves. The feature, which was previously exclusive to Pixel 10 phones, uses advanced AI capabilities to execute the requested edits, such as removing unwanted elements from the background, adjusting colors, or addressing issues like glare. Users can see the original and updated photos side-by-side to compare the results. To use the conversational editing feature, users need to have their Google account set to English, have Face Groups turned on, and have location estimates enabled. The feature is being made available to adult Android users in the US.
