SteelSeries' updated Nova 7 gaming headset offers much better battery life

SteelSeries has released an updated version of its popular Arctis Nova 7 midrange gaming headset, the Nova 7 Gen 2. The key improvement is a significant increase in battery life, now reaching up to 54 hours per charge, a 40% increase over the original. The headset also features quick-charging, providing six additional hours of use in just 15 minutes. The Nova 7 Gen 2 maintains the ability to connect wirelessly to a variety of devices, including gaming consoles, PCs, and smartphones, and can even mix audio from multiple sources. The headset integrates with the SteelSeries mobile app, offering over 200 presets for specific games to optimize the audio experience. While the Nova 7 Gen 2 lacks some features found in the company's higher-end models, such as a swappable battery and active noise cancellation, it maintains the sleek, premium design of the Arctis line and is available in three color options: black, white, and magenta. The headset is priced at $200 and is now available for purchase.
