Deadlock Is Getting Six New Heroes Over The Next Two Weeks

Deadlock, Valve's steampunk MOBA, is set to expand its roster of heroes significantly over the next two weeks. The game will introduce six new characters, including a vampire, a doorman, a Frankenstein-style monster, and a goat. The first new hero, Mina the vampire, is already live in the game. The release schedule for the remaining five heroes is yet to be determined, but players will be able to vote on which character is released next. The new heroes will be introduced in a rolling update, similar to Valve's approach with Team Fortress 2. The update also includes the introduction of the Hideout, a personal virtual space where players can hang out, test characters, and invite friends. Additionally, the game's map has received visual upgrades, and the character select UI has undergone a major overhaul. Deadlock is currently in limited early access, requiring an invite from a current playtester to access the game.
