York and Toulouse complete 14-team Super League as London Broncos miss out

The Rugby Football League has announced the 14 teams that will compete in the expanded Super League for the upcoming season. York Knights and Toulouse Olympique have secured the final two spots, while the London Broncos have missed out on a place. The decision was based on a panel assessment, with on-field performance being just one of the criteria. Bradford was already selected as one of the top 12 graded teams. The expansion of the Super League is part of a bid to raise investment in the sport. Toulouse, as the Championship Grand Final winners, secured the 13th spot, while York, as the regular season winners, was awarded the 14th place. The London Broncos, despite their strong performance, were not selected for the expanded league.
