Currently, the Emirates Stadium has a capacity of 60,700, placing it behind Tottenham's and West Ham's stadiums, which were built after Arsenal's move from Highbury in 2006. The expansion would restore Arsenal's status as the biggest club ground in the city, and the club has more than 100,000 supporters on the waiting list for season tickets. However, the stadium work could mean a temporary move to Wembley while the expansion is completed.
