Louis Rees-Zammit signs for Bristol to complete return to rugby from NFL

Louis Rees-Zammit, a 24-year-old Welsh winger with 32 international caps, has signed for Bristol Bears, completing his return to rugby from the NFL. In January 2024, Rees-Zammit had announced his decision to quit rugby and join the NFL's international player pathway program, signing with the Kansas City Chiefs and then the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, he failed to make a breakthrough in the NFL and has now opted to return to his rugby roots. Rees-Zammit stated that Bristol Bears was the "obvious choice" for him, as he aims to "get fans out of their seats, create exciting moments and help people fall in love with the game" once again.
