Jannik Sinner ends Terence Atmane’s dream run to reach Cincinnati Open final

Jannik Sinner, the world number one and defending champion, defeated French qualifier Terence Atmane in the Cincinnati Open semi-finals. Sinner, playing on his 24th birthday, won the match 7-6 (4), 6-2, ending Atmane's dream run at his first ATP Masters 1000 semi-final. Sinner was dominant, winning 91% of his first-serve points and facing no break points, while converting two of five break points. The match lasted 86 minutes.
