Bob MacIntyre blows four-shot lead as Scheffler wins BMW Championship
Bob MacIntyre, the Scottish golfer, blew a four-shot lead in the final round of the BMW Championship in Maryland, as the world No. 1, Scottie Scheffler, came from behind to clinch the victory. MacIntyre started the day with two bogeys, allowing Scheffler to close the gap to a single stroke. Despite a strong effort, MacIntyre was unable to stop Scheffler's momentum. On the penultimate hole, Scheffler made a remarkable chip shot from the rough, effectively sealing his victory. This was Scheffler's fifth PGA title in his second year on the tour.
