Marathon Players Report Keeping Server-Slam Loot In Full Game

Bungie's Marathon game has experienced a hiccup in its launch, with some players reporting that they have retained rare loot obtained during the Server Slam beta test, despite the developer's intention to reset players' progress. This is due to a bug that allows players to temporarily lend their items to others, which are then automatically returned to the original owner's mailbox. Bungie has stated that the goal of the launch is to provide a fresh start for all players, with no carry-over from the beta. However, a small number of players have managed to retain their valuable loot through this loophole. The developer has acknowledged the issue and indicated that it will likely be addressed in the near future. Meanwhile, the game has seen a strong start, with the Server Slam beta reaching 143,000 concurrent players on its first day.
