Alex de Minaur blows hot and cold on way to Washington Open final
Alex de Minaur, the Australian tennis player and world No. 13, has reached the final of the Washington Open. In the semi-final, he defeated Frenchman Corentin Moutet in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3. Despite being broken twice on his serve, De Minaur managed to break Moutet's serve five times out of 10 attempts, leading to a victory that took one hour and 45 minutes. This marks De Minaur's second appearance in the final of the ATP 500 event, having previously reached the final in 2018. He will now face Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the championship match.
