Emma Raducanu knocked out of Canadian Open in straight sets loss to Amanda Anisimova
Emma Raducanu, the British No. 1, has been knocked out of the Canadian Open in the third round. She lost to the American fifth seed, Amanda Anisimova, in straight sets, with a score of 6-2, 6-1. Raducanu had previously won both of their previous meetings, but this time, she struggled to hold her serve, only managing to do so once in each set. Anisimova's victory sets up a meeting with Elina Svitolina in the next round.
