Watch SpaceX rocket blast off to International Space Station

SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket successfully launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, carrying a cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station (ISS). The mission, designated CRS-25, is the 25th cargo resupply service contract between SpaceX and NASA. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off on Thursday, June 3rd, at 12:01 pm EDT. The rocket's first stage later landed on a SpaceX drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean, continuing the company's reusability efforts. The Dragon spacecraft, which was launched atop the Falcon 9, is carrying over 6,000 pounds of scientific experiments, crew supplies, and other equipment to the astronauts aboard the ISS. This includes investigations into tissue engineering, plant growth, and other microgravity research. The Dragon is expected to arrive at the ISS on Saturday, June 5th, where it will be captured by the station's robotic arm and berthed to the orbiting laboratory. This successful launch marks another milestone in SpaceX's ongoing partnership with NASA to support the ISS and enable further space exploration.
