Disney to streaming customers: Bundle up, or else

Disney is raising prices on most of its streaming services, with the standalone cost of Disney+ increasing to $12 per month with ads and $19 without, while Hulu's ad-supported plan is going up from $10 to $12 per month. However, the price hikes for bundled services are not as drastic, and in some cases, there is no increase at all. Disney and its competitors have realized that when people bundle services together, they are less likely to cancel. As a result, they are now pushing for larger TV packages that include more streaming services, with the cost of these bundles being less than the total cost of the individual services. The overall trend is that streaming services are becoming more expensive, and bundling is becoming a more attractive option for consumers. This is likely to continue as streaming providers seek to maintain and grow their customer base.
