Trump renews threat to impose 100% tariffs on non-US made movies

The article discusses President Trump's renewed threat to impose a 100% tariff on non-U.S. made movies. Trump believes that the American film industry has been "stolen" by other countries, suggesting that he believes foreign-made movies are unfairly competing with American-made films. The president's comments come amid ongoing trade tensions between the U.S. and other countries. Trump has previously used tariffs as a tool to try to protect American industries and jobs, and his latest threat suggests he may be considering a similar approach with the film industry. The article does not provide any additional details or context regarding the potential impact of such a tariff on the film industry or the broader economy. It remains to be seen whether the president will follow through on his threat or if this is simply posturing as part of ongoing trade negotiations.
