Perplexity launches an AI email assistant for Max subscribers

Perplexity, an AI company, has launched a new feature called Email Assistant for its Max subscription plan, which costs $200 per month. The Email Assistant allows users to delegate basic email tasks, such as scheduling meetings, organizing emails, and drafting replies, to an AI chatbot. Currently, the service only supports Gmail and Outlook as email clients. The AI assistant does not have access to the user's emails and instead adopts their writing style when drafting replies. The feature is available starting today, and it is exclusively accessible to Perplexity's Max plan subscribers.
