Some Spotify video podcasts are coming to Netflix

Spotify is expanding the reach of its video podcasts by bringing them to Netflix. Starting in early 2026, Netflix will offer a selection of Spotify's sports, culture, lifestyle, and true crime podcasts in the United States, with plans to expand to more markets and shows. The initial lineup will include nine sports-related podcasts, such as The Bill Simmons Podcast, The Zach Lowe Show, and various Ringer-produced shows covering fantasy football, the NFL, and the NBA. Other video podcasts coming to Netflix include The Rewatchables, The Recipe Club, Dissect, Conspiracy Theories, and Serial Killers. This move is seen as a way for Netflix to compete with the growing prevalence of video podcasts on platforms like YouTube, as well as a complementary offering to its existing content, such as the Formula 1 show Drive to Survive. For Spotify, it represents an opportunity to increase the visibility and reach of its original programming.
