Uber launches prepaid passes for frequent routes

Uber is introducing new features to make its ridesharing service more affordable for frequent users. The company is launching prepaid passes, which allow customers to purchase bundles of 5, 10, 15, or 20 rides at a discounted price, ranging from 5-20% off the average cost. Customers can select a 1-hour request window for these prepaid rides. Uber is also expanding its price-lock feature, which allows customers to lock in a certain price for up to 10 routes for a monthly fee of $2.99. These new offerings are aimed at encouraging loyalty and more frequent trips with certain customers. Additionally, Uber is introducing ride passes for teen accounts and Meal Deals on Uber Eats, where customers can purchase popular meals from restaurants for $15 or less.
