Middlesex in advanced talks over funding for home away from Lord’s
Middlesex County Cricket Club is in advanced talks with two international investment groups to secure funding for a new home ground and training base, separate from their current home at Lord's. The club is considering Uxbridge Cricket Club in west London as the preferred site for the new facility, but Lord's would still host around 70% of Middlesex's men's matches. The negotiations are expected to be finalized by the end of the year, and the proposals from the two investment groups are not mutually exclusive, with Middlesex set to make a final decision on the way forward.
