Acer gives its 18-inch Predator Helios gaming laptop a 4K screen and top GPU

Acer has unveiled a new high-end gaming laptop, the Predator Helios 18P, as part of its IFA 2025 lineup. The Predator Helios 18P features a 4K/120Hz Mini LED display and can be configured with an RTX 5090 GPU and Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX processor. The laptop also includes two Thunderbolt 5 ports and a range of other connectivity options. In addition to the Predator Helios 18P, Acer is also launching two more affordable Nitro V 16 models. The Nitro V 16 starts at $999.99/1,299 euros, while the slightly smaller and lighter Nitro V 16S starts at $1,099.99/1,399 euros. Both laptops can be configured with an Intel 270H processor and RTX 5070 GPU. The availability and pricing for the Predator Helios 18P in North America are still to be determined, but it is expected to be a high-end and expensive offering. The Nitro V 16 and 16S will be available in October and November, respectively.
