Conor McGregor given 18-month ban for breaking UFC’s anti-doping rules

Conor McGregor, a former UFC champion, has been issued an 18-month ban for breaking the organization's anti-doping rules. The Irishman missed three attempted drug tests in 2024, which constitutes a violation of the UFC's anti-doping policy, according to the Combat Sports Anti-Doping (CSAD) organization. As a result of this suspension, McGregor will be ineligible to compete until 2026, when he could potentially return for a bout at the White House.
