Arc Raiders Gets Free Test For Everyone This Weekend On All Platforms

Arc Raiders, the upcoming extraction shooter developed by Embark Studios, is offering a free "server slam" test this weekend across all platforms, including PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. The test runs from October 17-19 and is open to everyone aged 16 and above, allowing players to experience the game's Dam Battlegrounds map and interact with The Traders of Speranza, who function as quest-givers and merchants. The test will introduce players to various gameplay elements, including electromagnetic storms, while progress made during the test will not carry forward to the full launch on October 30. Players who participate in the test can earn the Server Slammer backpack for the full game. Embark Studios, founded by industry veterans including former EA and Battlefield executive Patrick Soderlund, is aiming to provide a unique extraction shooter experience with Arc Raiders, which is priced at $40 and launches shortly after the debut of EA's Battlefield 6.
