Hodgkinson and Hunter-Bell seek British 800m one-two at world championships
Keely Hodgkinson and Georgia Hunter-Bell, British athletes, are aiming for a one-two finish in the 800m event at the upcoming World Athletics Championships. Hodgkinson is the reigning Olympic champion in the event, while Hunter-Bell had to choose between the 800m and the 1500m, in which she won bronze at the Paris Olympics. Hunter-Bell's recent success in the 800m, including two Diamond League victories, has led her to focus on the shorter distance. The British team is expected to equal its record of 10 medals at the world championships.
