Detroit Lions’ defense mauls Lamar Jackson to upset Ravens in Baltimore

The Detroit Lions upset the Baltimore Ravens 38-30 in a hard-fought game on Monday night. The Lions' defense sacked Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson seven times and outrushed the Ravens 224 yards to 85. Running backs Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery scored two touchdowns each, leading the Lions to victory. The Ravens were without defensive lineman Nnamdi Madubuike, and their defense struggled to contain the physical play of the Lions' offensive line. The win improves the Lions' record to 2-1, while the Ravens suffer their first loss of the season.
