Snowflake and OpenAI forge $200M enterprise AI partnership

Snowflake, a leading cloud data platform, and OpenAI, a prominent artificial intelligence research company, have formed a $200 million enterprise AI partnership. The collaboration aims to bring OpenAI's advanced models, including GPT-5.2, directly into Snowflake's enterprise data platform. This integration will enable Snowflake's large customer base, over 12,000 organizations, to build AI agents and semantic analytics tools that operate on their own data within Snowflake's governed environment. The agreement allows OpenAI models to be natively embedded in Snowflake Cortex AI and Snowflake Intelligence, enabling customers to analyze structured and unstructured data, automate workflows, and derive insights using natural language interfaces and context-aware agents. This partnership is expected to empower Snowflake's customers to leverage the power of OpenAI's cutting-edge AI technology within their existing data infrastructure.
