Riot's 2XKO fighting game hits early access on October 7
Riot Games is set to release its highly anticipated fighting game, 2XKO (previously known as Project L), on October 7 as an early access title for PC. The game is set in the League of Legends universe and features many iconic characters from the franchise, such as Jinx, Yasui, and Braum. 2XKO is a 2 vs. 2 tag-based fighting game similar to the Marvel vs. Capcom series, offering a high level of depth and mastery. The early access version will launch with 10 playable characters, with more to be added in the future. The game has already faced some controversy due to the difficulty in pronouncing its name, leading Riot to address the issue on social media. 2XKO will eventually be released for multiple platforms, including PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, but the early access build is exclusive to PC players. The game will be free-to-play.
