A Live-Action 'FernGully' Remake Is Ready for the Post-'Avatar' World

To me, my spoilers! Deadline reports a live-action remake of FernGully: The Last Rainforest is now in development at Amazon MGM Studios with Marielle Heller (Nightbitch) attached to write and direct. According to Deadline, Kathryn Newton will reprise her role as Cassie Lang in Avengers: Doomsday. Deadline also reports Hailee Steinfeld and Rashida Jones will lend their voices to Disney’s new animated feature, Hexed.
