Battlefield 6 Portal Map Creator Makes It Easier Than Ever To Design And Play
Battlefield 6 will introduce an enhanced Portal map creation tool, allowing players to design, share, and play custom maps with more options than ever before. The new spatial editor powered by Godot enables creators to move and edit pre-existing map elements, while custom and AI scripting allows them to create unique UIs and control NPC combatants. The game will also include modifiers that let players change the rules of the game, such as setting up one-shot kills and closed weapons. Importantly, player progression and XP gain will be fully enabled during Portal mode. Battlefield 6 will feature a single-player campaign and the return of classic soldier classes, with the game set to launch on October 10 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
