Anthropic launches Claude AI agent extension for Chrome
Anthropic, an AI company, has launched a new browser extension called Claude for Chrome. The extension allows users to interact with the Claude AI agent while using Chrome. Claude can perform actions on behalf of the user based on the context of open tabs and any prompts submitted. Currently, only 1,000 users with an active Max subscription can participate in the pilot program. As Anthropic gains confidence in the extension, more users will be invited to join the waitlist.
