Almost 30 years later, a new Powerpuff Girls movie is on the way

A new movie starring The Powerpuff Girls is in production by Warner Bros. Pictures Animation. A 2016 animated reboot (also called The Powerpuff Girls) was panned by critics and audiences alike, though it did get a three-season run.
