How to buy (and try) the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses

Meta's Ray-Ban Display glasses are now available, but with a catch. They can only be purchased through a reservation system at select physical retail stores in the United States, including Ray-Ban, Sunglass Hut, LensCrafters, Best Buy, and Verizon stores, as well as Meta's own "Meta Lab" locations. To get a pair, customers need to book an appointment for a demo through Meta's website, which is necessary to ensure the glasses and band fit properly. The glasses support a limited prescription range of -4.00 to +4.00, and customers can order prescription lenses during the appointment. While the demand for demos has been strong, leading to long wait times, Meta plans to expand the availability of the $799 glasses to Canada, France, Italy, and the UK in early 2026, and expects the buying options to expand over time. The Ray-Ban Display glasses are Meta's first to incorporate a heads-up display, enabling wearers to do more than the existing Ray-Ban or Oakley models.
