Minecraft's Mounts Of Mayhem Update Will Mix Up Combat

Minecraft's upcoming "Mounts of Mayhem" update is set to arrive in Holiday 2025, introducing new combat elements to the game. The update will feature a new weapon, the spear, which can be used in both hand-to-hand and mounted combat, with its damage scaling based on the player's speed. Additionally, a new underwater mount, the nautilus, can be tamed using pufferfish, allowing for faster underwater travel and preserving the player's air supply. The update will also introduce new enemy configurations, including the zombie nautilus, a neutral mob, and the drowned mobs that ride them, carrying tridents and hostile towards the player. On land, players will encounter zombie horses, which won't attack on their own but will be ridden by spear-wielding zombies. Alongside the "Mounts of Mayhem" update, Minecraft will also see the release of the Copper Age update next week, the educational Friendly Fishing add-on, and a collaboration with the Dragon Ball Z franchise.
