Hideo Kojima's OD captures the spirit of P.T. in the first gameplay trailer
Hideo Kojima's studio, Kojima Productions, has unveiled the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming horror game OD, developed in collaboration with director Jordan Peele. The game appears to capture the eerie atmosphere of Kojima's previous work, P.T., with first-person gameplay and a focus on creating a tense, unsettling experience. The trailer features a character, played by Sophia Lillis, anxiously lighting candles, some of which have babies on them, as an ominous knocking sound grows in the background. The trailer ends with the character being grabbed by an unseen entity, hinting at the game's horror elements. In addition to OD, Kojima Productions is also celebrating its 10th anniversary and has announced a partnership with Niantic Spatial to develop an AR experience that brings the studio's "iconic storytelling into the real world." The studio is also teaming up with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group to launch a credit card in Japan, which can be used to earn rewards for Kojima Productions merchandise and other items.
