Gears Of War: Reloaded's First Fixes Are Now Available

Gears of War: Reloaded, a remaster of the original game, launched this week with a few issues. Developer The Coalition has quickly addressed these problems, including resolving an issue that blocked players from accessing pre-order skins and fixing a Steam crash problem. The patch for the Steam crash issue is rolling out on August 28, which may briefly interrupt services. Despite these initial hiccups, the game's Steam reviews remain "mixed," and it peaked at around 4,800 concurrent players on launch day. Gears of War: Reloaded marks the franchise's debut on PlayStation, after being exclusive to Xbox on consoles for 19 years. The next Gears of War game, Gears of War: E-Day, is scheduled to launch in 2026.
