Starfield Getting A Second Story DLC And More

Bethesda, the developer behind the spacefaring RPG Starfield, has revealed that they plan to continue supporting the game with various updates, including a second story DLC. Lead creative producer Tim Lamb stated that the team is working on free updates, new game systems, and other features that players have been requesting. The first story DLC, Shattered Space, was released in September 2024 and added a new planet, weapons, and gear. While details on the upcoming DLC are scarce, Lamb promised that part of the team has been focused on improving the space gameplay to make it more rewarding for players. Additionally, there are unconfirmed rumors that Starfield may be ported to the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, but Bethesda has not officially commented on these reports. Alongside the ongoing support for Starfield, the studio is also working on The Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5.
