"Birdigo" is a new single-player word and deck-building game that combines elements from popular games like Scrabble, Wordle, and Balatro. The objective is to help a flock of birds migrate by forming words using a deck of letter cards, with longer or more strategic words generating more "flaps" to propel the birds forward. The game features roguelike mechanics, meaning each run is randomized with varying challenges and goals. Players must adapt their strategies based on the cards they collect and the level they are on. The game progresses in difficulty, and the aim is to travel as far as possible and achieve a high score before the flock can no longer continue. Developed by screenwriter John August and game developer Corey Martin, "Birdigo" is now available on Steam for $8.50.
