Middlesbrough go top of Championship after Whittaker gets off mark against Ipswich
Middlesbrough moved to the top of the Championship table after a 2-1 win over Ipswich. Morgan Whittaker scored his first goal for Middlesbrough, and Cédric Kipré's own goal in the first half gave the home side the lead. Ipswich had a chance to equalize from the penalty spot, but Middlesbrough goalkeeper Sol Brynn saved the shot. The victory ended Middlesbrough's three-game winless run and solidified their position at the top of the league standings.
