Amazon has announced the launch of two new Echo Show smart displays - the Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11. The devices feature a redesigned look, with a prominent speaker module at the bottom and a floating screen on top. They are powered by the AZ3 Pro chip with an AI Accelerator, offering better noise cancellation and more advanced sensors. The displays have 13MP cameras, providing the best camera quality on an Echo Show device. The new models are designed to showcase Alexa+, Amazon's AI-enhanced virtual assistant, which is intended to be more conversational and retain memories of previous interactions. The Echo Show 8 is priced at $180, while the Echo Show 11 costs $220, and both will be available for pre-order starting today, with shipping set for November 12.
