Trump announces billions in investments to make Pennsylvania an AI hub

In a speech at the Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit, President Donald Trump announced over $90 billion in investments from private companies related to AI, technology, and energy in the state. The investments include $25 billion from Blackstone for data centers and energy infrastructure, $15 billion in expansions from First Energy, and billions more from companies like Enbridge, Equinor, Capital Power, Google, CoreWeave, Anthropic, and Meta. The investments are aimed at making Pennsylvania a hub for AI and technology, as well as supporting the state's energy and gas production sectors. Trump also reiterated his calls for increased drilling and gas production during the event.
