Turn your AirPods Max into a masterpiece with Casetify’s new headphone wrap
Casetify, a company known for its smartphone, tablet, and earbud cases, has released a new accessory that allows AirPods Max users to transform their headphones into a work of art. The accessory is part of a collection celebrating the Mauritshuis museum's collection in The Hague, Netherlands. The headphone cover is made from a "silk-like textile" and features a pleated design that mimics the headscarf worn by the unknown subject in Johannes Vermeer's 1665 painting, "Girl with a Pearl Earring." The cover also includes a dangling pearl on one side, further enhancing the resemblance to the iconic painting. While the accessory does serve to protect the AirPods Max's earcups, it unfortunately blocks the headphone's physical controls. The product is currently listed as sold out on Casetify's online store, despite its steep price tag of $199 – nearly half the cost of the $549 AirPods Max themselves.
